Food waste AI cooking assistant

A simple ChatGPT based application integrating OpenAI’s Assistant API. The project aims to explore ways to reduce food waste by utilizing current food offers from local stores, fetched through an external API, and generating recipes that use these products.

The application automatically fetches current food waste offers from local stores. Then it utilizes GPT to generate recipes and starts a chat allowing the user to talk about the recipes. The app is built using Streamlit for a straightforward and user-friendly interface.
